The British Neuropathological Society (BNS) is a professional association. The object of the Society is to further the study of neuropathology, to promote the exchange of scientific information by means of regular meetings, lectures and demonstrations, and to provide the opportunity for discussions between neuropathologists in Britain and 'overseas'.
The website holds details of meetings, the Society Journal (Neuropathology & Applied Neurobiology) and educational material.

Over the years the Society has endeavoured to reflect the interests of its members and these interests have consistently been towards the advancement of pathology. - From morbid anatomy to molecular biology, from histochemistry to in situ hybridisation, from bacteriology to medical microbiology, the Society's meetings have encompassed the inevitable evolutions and necessary developments and much is recorded for posterity in the Society's journals. |
